本期介绍的是我一直以来都非常喜欢的两位歌坛老将：Kenny Rodgers and Dolly Parton 。两位都是享誉歌坛几十年不倒的常青树。

肯尼．罗杰斯（Kenny Rogers）1938年8月21日出生于得克萨斯州的休斯顿。他的嗓音浑厚，表情洒脱，爱唱节奏轻快自由、略带叙述性的歌曲，有时还将乡村音乐和城市温和摇滚融合在一起。1976年，罗杰斯从偏向”嬉皮式”的风格走向平稳的乡村音乐道路，成为一名乡村音乐的改良者。他将大量的流行音乐元素融入乡村音乐之中，使两者得到完美的结合。
两人在这首联袂演唱的Islands in the stream中挥洒自如，桃丽的歌喉嘹亮却又蕴含着温情，肯尼．罗杰斯深情款款，整首歌曲节奏欢快、流畅，富有很强的感染力。
