南非音乐组合Freshly Ground-I’d Like
Freshlyground乐队由来自南非的七位不同领域的音乐人才创立。2003年Freshlyground开始他们的首张专辑，发行于他们自己的Freeground唱片厂牌。这张唱片让他们牢牢占据南非最好的年轻乐队之一的地位，这也是最大的成功。Freshlyground 在2004年7月发行了他们的第二张录音室专辑Nomvula，这这张专辑引起了非洲Sony BMG的兴趣，公司最后与乐队签约，并在当年9月发行了Nomvula。专辑在南非达到了30万张的销量。
2006年11月，Freshlyground赢得了MTV欧洲大奖非洲最佳表演类别奖。这个奖项确定了乐队在国际音乐地图上的地位，并且使他们在未来也成为了南非文化向外展示的标签之一。
本周末10月17日，Freshly Ground将出席在上海浦东世纪公园上演的2009爵士上海音乐节。
